Hemostatic gauze dressing is a sterile, emergency clotting sponge dressing designed to stop bleeding, immediately after an injury and control external surface bleeding. When the fabric comes in contact with blood or exudates, it can quickly transform into a clear viscous gel, which fills wounds voids, seals capillary ends, activates the clotting system and thereby helps to stop bleeding. Ideal for military, emergency responders, EMS, law enforcement police agencies, and trauma care units. (compares to ActCel, Quikclot, Celox). Hemostat gauze dressing fabric is a soluble regenerated cellulose for bleeding control.
