For Marine Diesel Oil and Gas Oil Applications:

Unitor DieselPower Biocontrol is self-dispersing and can be added directly into the fuel tank without the need for special equipment.

 Recommended Dosage Rates

Preventive Treatment:

     -Continuous dosing: 0.20 litres/ton of fuel (every time new oil is charged to the tank).

      -Periodic dosing: 0.6 litres/ton every 2 months, regardless of fuel volume processed.

Decontamination (contaminated fuel): 0.8 litres/ton

Shock Dosing (heavy contamination with visible biomass or filter blockage): 3 litres/ton

       -Allow at least 24 hours treatment time for maximum effectiveness.

Best Mixing Practices

 To ensure proper distribution of the biocide throughout the fuel:

Pump Method: Circulate fuel with DieselPower Biocontrol from one tank to another (and back).

Turbulence Method: Add Biocontrol when the tank is one-third full, then continue filling with fuel to create natural mixing.

Pre-dilution Method: Pre-dilute DieselPower Biocontrol in fuel before adding it to the tank (not practical for large tanks, and requires safe manual handling).
