Changing from another fluid to PowerTran Fluid may require some preparation and precautions to ensure a smooth transition. Some steps to follow are:
Check the compatibility of PowerTran Fluid with your existing system (seals, paints, metals, etc.)
Drain the old fluid completely from the system
Flush the system with a compatible flushing oil or solvent
Fill the system with PowerTran Fluid according to the manufacturer’s instructions
Monitor the system for any signs of leakage, contamination, or abnormal operation
The choice of viscosity grade depends on the ambient temperature and the specifications of your equipment manufacturer.
