GZ Industrial Supplies is a distributor of Sigma Marine coatings in Nigeria, our SIGMA VICOTE 56 SIGMA PROTECTIVE AND MARINE COATINGS is a single component modified acrylic finish coating, it is used as a finish coat, have colors of white and various other colors and gloss finish, this product is used for marine dry dock, inland marine and sea stores

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS of SIGMA VICOTE 56 SIGMA PROTECTIVE AND MARINE COATINGS

  • Finish coat for above-water areas
  • Good gloss and color retention
  • Resistant to water and splash of mild chemicals
  • Fast-drying
  • Can be applied at low temperatures, down to –10°C (14°F)

RECOMMENDED SUBSTRATE CONDITIONS AND TEMPERATURES

Substrate conditions

  • Previous coat (chlorinated rubber, vinyl or acrylic coatings) must be dry and free from any contamination
  • Substrate temperature and application conditions
  • Substrate temperature during application should be at least 3°C (5°F) above dew point

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  • Stir well before use

  • The temperature of the paint should preferably be above 15°C (59°F), otherwise extra thinner may be required to obtain

    application viscosity

  • Adding too much thinner results in reduced sag resistance

  • Adequate ventilation must be maintained during application and curing (please refer to INFORMATION SHEETS 1433 and 1434)

    i bought the product from GZ supplies some weeks ago and the product is really nice. some of its qualities include; Finish coat for above-water areas Good gloss and color retention Resistant to water and splash of mild chemicals Fast-drying Can be applied at low temperatures, down to –10°C (14°F)
